I HAD A DREAM!
As we celebrate the famous speech by Martin Luther King, I can’t help but think about my own dream. My wife and I have been praying for years about full time ministry helping children in need in Haiti.
At 4:53:10PM Eastern (21:53:10 UTC) January 12th, 2010 the ground shook for 35 seconds and changed the course of a nation and shocked the world. The devastation and human suffering is about as bad as it gets. The Haitian economy has been borderline “failed state” for decades and has literally been shaken to the ground. The amount of orphans who will die in the upcoming months is staggering and no amount of aid will help them all, but we can save a few.
A little 90 acre beacon of light in a dark situation can be the staging platform for rescue and a new beginning. This Canaan Orphanage is situated 1 hour North of Port au Prince on the hillside of Montrouis; far enough away from the chaos, yet close enough to have direct, selective access to administer aid. Their infrastructure is intact and have plenty of land space available to set up a major headquarters / supply line.
I envision United Nations, Military, and private support forming a long term relationship to provide immediate relief, and to “seed” this nation again all from this 90 acres of Haitian paradise. It is what Canaan has been praying for the last 15 years. Within 1 mile is a resort hotel (Indigo) to house the hundreds of workers necessary to facilitate this type of national rescue and rebuilding.
Please spread the word and get as many people as you can to visit NEVER THIRST AGAIN, www.ntaministry.org
Right now we need financial support to buy aviation fuel to fly in supplies. If you would like to make a donation check out the contacts page. Please pray for our vision for Haiti.

Urgent support needed…
Currently we are housing a little girl named Yoldy and her guardian (also named Yoldy) here in South Florida since October. The guardian is from the city of Carrefour which is closer to the epicenter then Port au Prince. She was finally able to speak to her mom and the situation there is dire. This suburb of Port au Prince, Carrefour, is totally leveled and you don’t even hear about it. If ever there was a time in your life to give, it’s now; and they need it yesterday. Please allow me to tell you a plan.
Logistics are complicated even for large organizations like the Red Cross. Canaan Orphanage is located outside of Port-au-Prince to the north; far enough away from the chaos, yet close enough to be used as a supply line. They received no damage and are ready to be set up as a way point for aid.
Canaan Orphanage is a 90 acre complex with about 120 people living there. They have plenty of space and plenty of young healthy volunteers to work at saving lives. Our ministry, Never Thirst Again has partnered with another ministry called Compassion Air founded by my friend, Jerry Lowenstein. He owns his own airplane and has recruited a second plane which gives us TWO planes at our disposal to fill and send supplies, and fly back eligible orphans whose paperwork was temporarily sped up.
Our first flight is scheduled for this Tuesday, which will take supplies need by Canaan’s clinic, and forumula needed for orphans there. His return flight will be bringing back 4 orphans, one of which is being adopted by Jerry, himself. After a 3 year adoption process, the timing couldn’t be better for him.
We need money and supplies; especially baby formula. As we gain momentum we will have a better idea of what supplies are most urgently needed. The founder of Canaan Orphanage was in the Dominican Republic and should be arriving in Haiti soon. After that, the partnership of these three ministries will be perfectly situated to save lives.
This is where you come in. Please make a tax deductible donation to Never Thirst Again and mail it to 11411 SW 49 PL, Davie, FL 33330. If you would like to pay by credit card, please call me at 305-877-4494.
There are 2 points I’d like to make regarding this plan. First, Never Thirst Again has no overhead so every single penny will go directly to disaster relief on the front line. Second, you can make your donation personal by seeing it at work through my facebook wall; simply send me a friend request if you are not on it already.
